Frost Morning in Petoskey

A COLD morning in the single digits, November 10th, 2017. With freezing hands and chattering teeth this drone capture warmed me up, if only for a moment. The cold weather also had quite the affect on Little Traverse Bay, it appeared to be alive, venting and steaming white frothy gas. Needless to say the resident goose population was a little shocked, and none too eager to move from their huddled groups. The subject of this photograph, the Petoskey clock tower, is one of highlights of the waterfront area. Erected sometime in the early 90s. The towers chime can be heard across town inviting visitors down to the waterfront.
